Digital Artist Magazine issue 27

So here it is, the final piece and how it looks in the magazine. We're also on this issues disc so you can create an alphabet style poster too! Got a few more works in the pipeline and we'll be posting up some new illustration and creatures with a festive theme very soon!

Yummy Yakisoba!

Finally a new illustration to share! This new piece 'Yummy Yakisoba!' features in this months Digital Artist magazine and it's my first ever 5 page tutorial! It's all about creating a typographical style poster (they're all the fashion these days) so grab yourself a copy if you want to learn some of my well kept tips and tricks! I'll post some photo's of the pages and the final illustration at the end of the week!

Hello all!

I hope you have had a chance to look around our new site, if not have a look now (go on it won't hurt!). We have just put up our rabbit rabbit illustration on Threadless for their latest design challenge 'We love totes'. Have a look here and please vote if you can! Apart from that we're working on new illustrations and a new plush which will appear here and on the new site over the next couple of weeks!

We have also just had our first official interview too! The lovely Amy from Pikaland has written a piece about us, the new website and our work for the Pikaland blog. If you fancy a read and a chance to get to know a bit more about us have a lookie here!

Our shiny new website

We're proud to present our brand new website. We were well overdue a new one so here it is. We now have a shop and there's actually things to buy in it (fantastic!). We'll be updating the site regularly so make sure to visit it now and again (websites do tend to get lonely if you don't). So please take a look and let us know what you think!

Monster Riot in Digital Artist Issue 20

Yay! Our first magazine commission has been published today. We feature in the latest issue of Digital Artist magazine (issue 20) with a tutorial on how to stylise smoke effects. More to come soon...

Introducing Edgar the Wolf

Oops! It's been quite a while since our last post (sorry about that!). We've been busy with lots more illustration and toy making which we will be posting over the coming weeks. Which brings us to Catherine's latest plush creation, Edgar. He's a wolf and is a fan of Duran Duran and strawberry milkshakes. He also doesn't eat meat as it gives him indigestion (which is probably a good thing as he would eat the rest of the plush creatures and we don't want that!

He's also fitting in nicely with the rest of the clan. More plush and illustrations coming soon!

Yeti and Big Foot

These two fellas have been picked for Pictoplasma's 'Missing Link Research Exhibition' that's happening in Berlin later this month. For more info visit their site here!
