The Artfuls interview

The lovely Tony Lewis of The Artfuls asked us if we'd do an interview for him and we jumped at the chance. It's the first interview we've done as separate people, so it was great to show our different opinions. The site is filled with amazing artists interviews and their artworks. Check out the interview here.

'Ello, 'ello, 'ello!

Hello! Below is the first of three illustrations to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee in June. They'll all have British themes and use the same colour palette - maybe we might decide to get these ones printed... In other news, Jason did an interview for the lovely folks at 1973. If you want to see it and a couple of pictures of Jason and his studio space, take a hop, skip and a jump to here.

The Cloud Creator

Hello all! Sorry for the radio silence, we've been away on holiday and had no time lately to sit down and do some good old 'blogging'. So what have we been up to exactly? Well to start off here's a new illustration which came out of a doodle created for CreatureMags 1 Minute Monsters. I thought I'd do the idea justice and make a finished piece out of it.

We've also done a few interviews over the last couple of months, one of which went live on the CreatureMag site not so long ago. There's a couple more in the pipeline which we'll post when they surface! As well as the odd interview, we also had the privilege of being That's My Folio's featured artist, there's a short blog post about it here on their lovely site. And finally, we've been drafted on Dribbble, so now you can get mini previews of what we're working on if you pop to our page. That's about it folks, I promise the next post won't be so long in the making! Cheerio for now...

Here, there and (nearly) everywhere

Gosh that month went by quite quick. Sorry for the lack of posting recently, we've been very busy at Monster Riot HQ and unfortunately the blog has suffered. We'll make more of an effort from now on, we promise! So what have we been up to to make us this busy? Well I have to say September was a very good month for us and we were lucky enough to start getting blogged about and even appearing in the exposure section of this month's Computer Arts magazine. It went on sale in the UK on the 29th September so it will be in the shops for a few more weeks if you want to grab yourself a copy.

As I mentioned we also had the privilege of getting to do a number of interviews and were also blogged about on certain websites. The first one was for the lovely people at Pistache Moustache, and I have to say their questions have been the best so far! If you fancy a read you can see it in all it's glory here. Then there was the awesome inkygoodness team you made us featured artists on their blog, check out the post here. And that's not all, our two little rabbits even got in on the action by being part of a studio interview for lovely Meg and Tuesday at Studio Sweet Studio. You can see pictures of the fluffy things and where we do our work here.

We have also started up a new Society 6 account where you can grab yourself some select prints. Check out the shop here to see what we have on offer.

Phew! So that's you all updated now. We'll be posting some new illustration later in the week. Cheerio for now!
